Liverpool transfer target Omar Marmoush wants to move to the Premier League if he departs Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Egyptian sensation, who has 15 goal contributions – nine goals and six assists – in his past nine matches in all competitions, is also wanted by Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Nottingham Forest failed with multiple bids, the highest of which is understood to have reached £25million, for the 25-year-old attacker earlier this summer while Fulham had also reportedly shown an interest.
However, there is a sense that both Premier League clubs have now missed their chance to land the red-hot forward, who is believed to have made his way onto Liverpool’s wishlist.
Mirror Football has been told that Marmoush dreams of joining international team-mate Mohamed Salah at Anfield although theoretically, he could even potentially replace his compatriot if Salah fails to agree a new contract on Merseyside as background discussions continue between the parties.
The prolific forward is expected to cost upwards of £50million but his valuation appears to be increasing with every week that goes by as Marmoush, who can play through the middle or on either flank, continues to fire in the goals in Germany. Should he leave Frankfurt, however, he is keen to test himself on English shores.
Sources indicate that £30m might have been enough for Forest to strike a club-to-club deal in August, though the player himself has since relayed his satisfaction at his decision to stay put.
Marmoush claimed back in September: “The feeling I have here, especially with the coach, is indescribable. That just inspired me to stay here and concentrate on the task.”

On Thursday night, the ex-Wolfsburg man struck a stunning free-kick as Frankfurt beat Slavia Prague 1-0 in the Europa League.
Additionally, he has already reached the 10-goal mark in the Bundesliga this season in just nine matches and already has 13 goals to his name in all competitions.
While Liverpool are thought to be prioritising the signings of a central midfielder and centre-back, they are also open to strengthening in attack – particularly given they are yet to tie Salah down to a new contract.
Speaking in midweek, Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche claimed he sees no reason why the club should push to sell their most-valuable asset, stating: “I’m obviously pleased that he’s still scoring. I think Omar feels comfortable here so we shouldn’t always discuss the transfer window or possible transfers.”
